About this course
Travel Photography 201 is a practical guide to creating images that do more than document where you went – they convey what it felt like to be there. Photographer Jérôme Poirier shares his approach to finding stories in new places, building a capable and lightweight kit, and using lenses, settings and light intentionally in the field.
Instructor
Jerome is a half French half Japanese travel photographer who currently calls NYC home. His passion takes him to the four corners of the globe, where he captures the essence of each destination and tell its story through his own lens, quite literally. He particularly enjoys the challenge of exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations that most travelers overlook, offering his own unique perspective.
