Christopher Lynch, AKA MISTER LYNCH, is a self taught visualist that has chosen the still and moving image as his medium. He started backstage and in the concert pits of the DC area, moved onto The Vatican and was then recruited from college to open the first in-house digital photo studio for advertising giant Young & Rubicam. Lynch was an early adopter of new technology, and was one of the first photographers to be shooting Medium Format Digital in the US, all before he was 22 years old. He has shot many National and International brand campaigns, but aside from his commercial division, Mister Lynch has also been recognized by the art and design world for his series “The Newfounds”, and was recently awarded Artist in Residency at The Museum Of Arts And Design in New York City. His aim is to twist reality ever so slightly in camera, making the viewer second guess what they see, and then smile.
