Join Sony Artisans Don Smith and Gary Hart as they share the springtime beauty of the Oregon/Washington Columbia River Gorge. This workshop is timed to highlight the beauty of the Gorge's colorful wildflowers, pounding waterfalls, rushing creeks, reflective lakes, and lush green forests - all this in the shadow of towering volcanoes.
Picturesque Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams will be the backdrop for the workshop's sunrises and sunsets. During the day we'll enjoy colorful wildflowers carpeting the surrounding hillsides and explore the area's spectacular waterfalls (with over 75 to chose from, Don and Gary will share their favorites). You'll appreciate the Gorge's indirect (and often overcast) morning and late-afternoon light that's perfect for photography. We'll also find time in the middle of the day to improve your photography and workflow with image review and classroom training.
This workshop will be based in Hood River, Oregon, just 60 miles east of Portland and right in the heart of the Gorge. Also included in your workshop fee are three nights of private lodging and a delicious full breakfast each morning.
