Grand Canyon Raft Trip For Photographers & Friends With Sony Artisan Gary Hart

Join Sony Artisan Gary Hart for Grand Canyon raft trip for photographers and friends.

"I've wanted to raft the Grand Canyon for my entire life. When I finally did it in May of 2014, it was supposed to be my one-and-only time. But the experience so exceeded my already high expectations (and those of every single person who joined me), that I decided to keep doing it as long as people want to sign up. For the fifth consecutive year I've chartered two rafts and four experienced guides through Western River Expeditions, the best rafting company on the Colorado River. For six days our experienced, talented (and extremely entertaining) guides will take care of our every need, including guiding us through thrilling rapids, entertaining us with Grand Canyon stories, history, and geology, getting us in position to photograph the Grand Canyon's amazing sights (with my input), and feeding us with restaurant-quality meals (I'm not kidding).

I'll be there to offer photography help for all who need it. Special accommodation will be made for camera gear (cameras, lenses, tripod), and because our stops and campsites will be determined by the photography they offer, you'll see things not normally seen on other Grand Canyon trips. Night photography is always a highlight of this trip, which I always schedule around the new moon for the darkest possible nights. Camera or not, you'll see more stars than you imagined possible, and the Milky Way brighter than you've ever seen. Non-photographers are welcome, so feel free to share this experience of a lifetime with a friend or loved one."
