Instagram Follow Friday October 12, 2018

The weekend is quickly approaching and before it hits we want to feature a few of our favorite accounts for Instagram Follow Friday. This week we have one Alpha Imaging Collective member currently on tour with chart-topping band, Panic at the Disco and another one who just returned from #AICdoesScotland, a Sony Artisan of Imagery with an incredible eye for portraits, and two accounts run by pairs – a duo of storytelling brothers and a jet-setting travel couple.  Join the likes of these photographers and the Be Alpha movement by tagging your own posts with #BeAlpha. Your account could be featured next!

Jake Chamseddine – @jakechams

Jake is a member of the Sony Alpha Imaging Collective. Jake’s Instagram bio says that he’s usually at a concert and always with a camera, and you can tell by his posts that he’s not exaggerating. He’s currently on tour with Panic at the Disco!, so if you’re a Brendon Urie fan you’re going to want to hit that follow button right now. He’s also documented the lives of musical artists like Lorde and Galantis – so you can expect to get a fun mix of stage and behind-the-scenes photos on his account.

Boris & Sandro Erceg – @brotherside

This account is run by two Croatian brothers, Boris and Sandro, who live in Trondheim, Norway and Hamburg, Germany, respectively. They post beautiful captures of these two cities, as well as others on their travels. One of the best parts of their posts are the stories to go along with them. Give them a follow and read through some if you love a great story and oftentimes a good laugh. The brothers shot this photo with the Sony α7S II and 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master lens.

Tiffany Nguyen – @tiffpenguin

Tiffany is an Alpha Collective member fresh back from the #AICdoesScotland trip. A dentist based in LA, her creative outlet is travel photography. She posts gorgeous nature shots from all over the world. Since traveling is such a major part of her life, she hopes to inspire others to get outside and create their own adventures when they see her posts.

Chris Orwig – @chrisorwig

Chris is a Sony Artisan who, in addition to being a photographer, is an author and a teacher. His focus is on the art of portraiture and if you look through his posts you’ll be amazed at his ability to connect with a human through a photo. He has a strong desire to make those connections, and uses the camera as his excuse to introduce himself to strangers. He says, “It’s not the portrait that I’m after, it’s the connection that I need.” To translate that connection into a photograph, Orwig used the Sony α7R III and the 85mm f/1.4 G Master lens.

Adam & Hannah – @gettingstamped

Adam and Hannah are travel bloggers, photographers and videographers who travel the world with the Sony α7R III. Their account features all of their travels together as a couple, and their adventures will leave you wanting to step up your game for date night! Follow their account to see the incredible places they visit, sites they explore and events they attend.

Also, you can follow the @sonyalpha account which features more of the best shots made by Sony shooters every day. It's one of the most popular accounts on Instagram with over one million followers and growing
