Seeing Through The Noise - Seminar With Hopper Stone

In this class, photographer Hopper Stone will address how to go about the principles of visual story telling in any given situation. Photography is about finding the moment that tells the story. Outside of the captured frame, there is always a whole lot going on (much of which is distracting and not necessarily relevant to the story being told). In Hopper's career in both photojournalism and on set photography, he has constantly been photographing in environments which are chaotic and change moment to moment. That’s what he refers to as “The Noise”. Through photos and stories, he will teach people how to see through all of that and find the gist of what is really going on.
