The visual creator industry needs diverse voices to thrive and reach new heights. We're on a mission to support the growth of underrepresented voices in photography, videography, and filmmaking, and provide a platform for creators across the artistic spectrum furthering this mission with their work.
You have a photo or video project idea that you believe in, and this grant will help you bring it to life. Besides funding, we’ll provide the Sony gear to shoot on, Adobe software to edit with, and the opportunity to have your project seen worldwide by countless creators who will be inspired to create alongside you.
Above all else, this is a family, and we support each other’s dreams and goals. When we show up for each other, our power to become our best selves is multiplied and carries us forward in extraordinary ways.
To contribute to the Alpha Female+ Community, join our Alpha Female Facebook group and engage with our creative family, create a public Creator Profile on alphauniverse.com, follow @sonyalpha and @sonyalphafemale on Instagram and tag your posts with #sonyalphafemale for a chance to have your work featured.
Sony Alpha’s Ambassadors empower others, create extraordinary art that challenges tradition, fight for important causes, and hold the torch of creativity to light the way for those coming behind them.
For the month of January, show us your best timelapse, hyperlapse or stop-motion (or any other kind of time-bending video) in the Alpha Female+ Timewarp Contest for your chance to win a Sony ZV-1 and to have your video featured on alphauniverse.com and @sonyalphafemale. To enter, follow @sonyalphafemale, then upload your video clip with a caption, tag @sonyalpha, and use the #SonyAlphaFemale and #SonyTimewarp hashtag. Videos that you enter should be made during the challenge period (no tagging old posts). The winner will be notified via DM on Instagram and you can see the Official Contest Rules for details.
There is no shortage of amazing creators putting out work that supports the artistic expression of the female perspective. We applaud their work and cheer them on their journeys.
