Portrait Lighting: Hands-On With Patrick Murphy-Racey

Bring your camera and shoot alongside Patrick Murphy-Racey, who will showcase how he quickly lights location portraits. Because he will use LED lighting at first, you should bring your camera with a portrait lens as you will be able to shoot a sequence of images as he builds out a lighting solution for each situation. He will delve into why it’s important to become proficient with strobes on location, explain the difference between small and large light sources, and open up the key to getting your portraits to literally glow so that very little retouching is needed. Patrick has shot hundreds of magazine covers and the class will start with a showcase of his work and end with everyone going home with a portfolio-quality portrait image.
