Nancy’s photo essay, The Loss Mothers’ Stone grew out of her experience with postpartum depression and her deep understanding of grief following the loss of her parents. Through intimate portraits and symbolic imagery, she connects her own mourning to the experiences of mothers who have suffered stillbirth. The work creates a quiet, compassionate space that acknowledges loss, remembrance, and emotional connection across different forms of grief.
