Sony Alpha Community Event Vancouver 2026

Sony of Canada, with our industry partners Broadway Camera and Sunbelt Rentals, are proud to present our 3rd Annual Alpha Community Event!

Come and experience the thrill of photographing high level athletes, birds of prey, professional dancers and models in action. Sony Pros will be on hand to help you get the most of each station. All stations will be lit with the latest in cinema lighting equipment from Sunbelt Rentals. Due to the popularity of the event and gear table, we do suggest bringing your personal photo gear to avoid waiting in line.

  • Entry fee ($40) includes a BBQ Lunch by Hungry & Humble BBQ & a $25 Gift Card from Broadway Camera
  • Free sensor cleaning by Sony Technician Gary from Everything
  • Electronic Limited Sony Cameras and Lenses available for checkout

There will be a limited number of Sony cameras and lenses to try but we suggest bringing your gear with you so you're not waiting in line to be able to photograph.

Members of Sony's Pro Support Team and local Sony Pros will be on hand to facilitate the event and answer your questions about our amazing line of imaging gear.
