11am – 12pm Morning Lecture: The Most Creative Portraits Express as Much About You as Your Subject
Great portraits are often as much about how you see the world as they are wonderful expressions of your subject. So, jump into a whole new way of making images by using creative tools found on the new Sony Mirrorless cameras as well as using point of view, perspective, lens choice and simple lighting ideas to go from taking pictures to making images.
You will learn fun and easy techniques from Peter Stranks, a photographer pulling from 30 years of shooting experience for magazines like Canadian Living and Today's Parent, ad clients like Royal Bank and LCBO and films such as Cheaper by the Dozen 2, One Week, and Everyday. Also Sony technical staff will also be on hand to help you get the most out of your mirrorless camera and which lens might be useful in your style of photography.
