Portrait of Italy: 8-Day Photography Workshop and Culinary Tour of Northern Italy

Well known for their photography instruction and sense of humor, prepare to be inspired creatively, laugh till your side aches, and eat the best food while drinking the best wine you've ever tasted! New to this year's tour, you will have the pleasure of taking a private cooking class with the Countess of a castle! (No, we are not making this up.) You will also visit and photograph one of the oldest, outdoor food markets in Italy. Plus, meet a cheese maker in Tuscany for a divine afternoon of learning and tasting the process while unpacking how to photograph the experience for a magazine. The group will explore ancient Rome, the lush, rolling hills of Tuscany for sunset shooting, discover, hidden, off-the-beaten path villages not found in guidebooks, visit cathedrals and world famous art galleries of Florence (birthplace of the Renaissance) while finishing the tour with a day to get lost in the romantic, winding alleys and canals of Venice. You will sleep in castles, villas and rustic farm settings. Every morning will start with photography instruction to best prepare you for the day's adventure, and the evenings will end with a 4-course dinner and the option to learn night photography and time lapse with Brian. This is an 8 Day Workshop/Tour that begins April 30th 2016 and ends May 8th 2016. Follow the link to see the full, detailed itinerary. All levels of photography are welcome. Limited space to ensure plenty of rich, hands-on instruction.
