Join Foto Care on Wednesday, August 4 for a Street Photography Workshop with Documentary Photographer and Sony Artisan of Imagery, Ira Block.
Reconnect with the photo community during this workshop that affords you the opportunity to get outside and start shooting again. Also meet fellow shooters and experience the latest Sony cameras & lenses.
During this live workshop, National Geographic Photographer and Sony Artisan Ira Block will demonstrate the portability and ease of Street shooting with the Sony gear mentioned below:
- Sony Alpha 7C
- Sony Alpha 7S III
- Sony Alpha 9 II
- Trio of new compact lens (24mm, 40mm & 50mm)
The workshop will kick-off at Foto Care with a brief presentation by Ira Block. He will discuss the advantages of using the new Sony gear and how it has helped him develop a different perspective on ‘seeing people’. Throughout the pandemic, Ira has been grounded like all Travel & Documentary Photographers so he has been shooting with the full frame Sony Alpha 7C and the new Sony compact prime lenses while exploring New York City. Now he wants to take you on a similar journey in and around the New York City, Flatiron District to explore the streets with these portable Sony options.
In addition, we’ll have the new Sony Alpha 1 available to see but it will not be the focus model during this workshop.
