The Marvels of Macro

The Marvels of Macro

Join us for a Hands-On Close-up photography Workshop.

Macro photography has become quite big, giving us a fascinating view of the “small” world around us and can be its own art form. Plus you don’t have to travel far, you can start to explore macro photography inside your home or even in your backyard.

Sony Artisan of Imagery Dennis Biela’s hands on macro photography class participants will learn about the equipment to use, composition, lighting, copy work, and techniques needed to get as close up as you want to get. Attendees will have the opportunity to shoot various setups using their own equipment or try out some of the latest camera gear from Sony. Whether beginner or seasoned pro there will be opportunities for both to expand your close up skills.

Dennis Biela, a Sony Artisan of Imagery, published works in close-up photography and macro photography in both books and magazines for clients including NASA, Smithsonian and San Diego Air & Space Museum.
