We named The 411 Brand as a recipient of the Create Action Grant to support their mission to connect young people with successful individuals, providing the guidance and inspiration they need to achieve their own success. As recipients of the Create Action Grant, The 411 Brand receives $50,000 in cash to continue and expand the organization's work, $50,000 in Sony Electronics products to support their action plan, and this Sony-produced short film telling their story:
The 411 Brand is dedicated to empowering youth through innovative programming in education, entertainment and athletics. Through their engaging and culturally relevant programs, they have reached over 850 students in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
The 411 Brand programs are designed to give young people a safe, recreational, fun, productive space during non-school hours where they can engage in quality programming that will provide alternative learning opportunities. "With 411, our goal is to expose kids to those passions young so they're not in that same situation of trying to figure it out," says John Thomas, CEO and Founder.
Each program is thoughtfully designed to resonate with today’s youth, ensuring the organization stays connected with what they are eager to learn.
