First Take With Chris Burkard returns for Season 2, and in each episode the Sony Artisan will be joined by a different creator for conversations and creative shoots. In Episode 1 of the new season, Burkard’s guest is Sony Alpha Ambassador Tiffany Nguyen, a talented creator who took her career path from dentistry into the world of travel and adventure photography. “To finally transition and tell my parents, ‘Hey, I’m going to be doing this full time.’ It definitely wasn’t easy,” says Nguyen.

It’s a moment many creators are familiar with, and making the leap takes some real courage and embracing of the unknowns. “There’s always a critical moment in everybody’s career where that happens, you know?” adds Burkard. “And like me, working as a freelance photographer, nothing is guaranteed. You never know anything. It’s terrifying, right?
