Initial Impressions Of The 85mm F1.4 GM From The Phoblographer, Chris Gampat

Chris Gampat of ThePhoblographer.com was in attendance at the worldwide launch of the Sony G Master lens line in New York. He wrote up his initial impressions of a lens that people & portrait photographers in particular will be extremely excited about, the 85mm F1.4 GM.

"Sony said that their biggest priority was not only excellent resolution performance but also great bokeh. To that end, they gave this lens 11 aperture blades. We got a bit of playtime with a final production unit today on the Sony α7R II; and the quality is downright amazing." -Chris Gampat, ThePhoblographer.com

Here's one of Gampat's photos take with the new 85mm F1.4 GM.
