We’re excited to bring you Episode 1 of a new mini-series with Chris Burkard called, “Inside, Out There.” In each episode throughout the mini-series, the Sony Artisan will explore a core photography concept. From framing and composition to gear, movement, low light and scene-building – then turns it into a practical way to make stronger images.
In Episode 1 below, Burkard transforms a studio into an outdoor scene to explore how framing shapes what a viewer sees. With a desert backdrop, a photographer, and layers of plants and props, the episode shows how foreground, background and subject placement can direct attention and make an image feel like a world of its own.
The series is all about slowing down, noticing more, and finding the story already unfolding around you. Stay tuned to the Alpha Universe YouTube Channel for more of “Inside, Out There.”
