Long Exposure Basics

In a new, short video tutorial, Sony Artisan Miguel Quiles shows how he sets his α7R II for long-exposures. Mounting an ND filter and keeping the shutter open for an extended amount of time is a common technique employed by landscape photographers to soften water. In this video, Quiles uses the same technique to soften moving clouds. If you've never played with long exposures before, check out the video to get yourself started on the right foot.
