Storytelling Fundamentals provides an actionable, seven-stage framework we can use on any project – from vlogs to brand films to social-good documentaries. The course is led by instructors Jeven Dovey and Jake Viramontez, who are also the co-founders of Sown, a nonprofit organization that produces high-impact documentary films for social good – helping raise awareness and inspire action around the world. In this course, Jeven and Jake don’t just talk theory, they show the framework in the field, drawing on a fast-paced vlog in India and a powerful documentary in Nepal.
