The attention our amazing planet receives on Earth Day is the level of awareness that many conservation photographers and videographers strive to create year-round. Through photographs and videos, creators are sharing important stories about our environment each and every day. So today, we're highlighting the work of a small group of the world's leading conservation story tellers as they seek out and bring to light the stories that matter, often dedicating their careers and forgoing comfort to get out there and provide the motivating visual the viewer needs.
Throughout the year we share stories of SeaLegacy, an organization dedicated to helping protect our oceans through storytelling, in which three of our Sony Artisans, Cristina Mittermeier, Paul Nicklen and Andy Mann, are co-founders. These global conservation thought leaders have put their storytelling skills to work for good, as they seek to rewrite the narratives and the fate of our ocean.
