The 13-minute film is a musical journey through the icy landscape of Antarctica and was created by award-winning composer Marcus Goddard and features cinematography by world-renowned photographer and Sony Artisan Paul Nicklen, along with a solo by celebrated cellist Yo-Yo Ma. The premiere will be followed by a conversation with Paul Nicklen, Yo-Yo Ma, Marcus Goddard, and Katie Couric.
The film is part of a campaign that celebrates and brings awareness to ongoing international efforts to secure three new marine protected areas in the Southern Ocean around Antarctica.
