Better aperture value, improved video and image quality, and the addition of EVF are just some of the reasons Chris Gampat at the Phoblographer gave the Sony RX100 V 5 out of 5 stars.

Gampat talks about how he's recently become increasingly fond of point and shoot cameras due to the capabilities packed into a small, light, versatile package but says "nothing has impressed me quite like what the Sony RX100 V has been capable of..."

The speed of the autofocus and image quality from the RX100 V's 1 inch sensor he says is "some of the best I've seen from a point and shoot camera..."

In conclusion the Phoblographer notes: "The Sony RX100 V is a really excellent camera not only for the enthusiast, but also for the pro that wants something a bit more compact."
