In Episode 7 of Through The Lens: Cuba, it’s street photography day. The TTL crew and the members of the Alpha Imaging Collective on the trip had the unique opportunity to visit the Photography Academy in Havana. The Academy is run by a pair of passionate photographers and it has a storied history where they teach technique as well as the culture, history and artistic concepts of photography.
The crew also goes to a children’s boxing training center where the traditions of the sport, which is one of Cuba’s most popular, are still taught and revered.
Alpha Imaging Collective member and street photographer Dave Krugman was particularly energized by the crew’s excursions through the streets of Havana. And Alpha Imaging Collective member Sara Dietschy explains how she started her incredibly successful YouTube channel.
