Tiffany Nguyen's Holy Trinity Of Lenses For Travel & Landscape Photography

Alpha Collective member Tiffany Nguyen’s work is all about travel, adventure and storytelling. To capture everything she needs while on a trip, she relies on a variety of Sony zoom lenses. “For me, these three lenses pretty much cover all my bases when I’m traveling.” Watch as she shares her three favorite lenses that you’ll always find in her bag.

1. Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master

The first lens you’ll find in her kit is the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master. She likes to use the classic GM zoom for bringing those larger-than-life views into a single frame. “It’s awesome for wide landscapes,” she says, “when you want to capture a really wide, grand scene.”

2. Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master II

The second lens she always has is the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master II. The second-generation GM is a popular focal length that can be used for a wide variety of scenarios while traveling. She says,  “I love it for capturing more details and more for storytelling.”

3. Sony 70-200mm f/4 G

While Tiffany says she doesn’t use the Sony 70-200mm f/4 G as much as the other two, it’s still one she’s used to take some of her favorite images. “I just love the compression, bringing the foreground, mid-ground and background together. It just creates a really dynamic image.
