Untethered Creativity With The Sony Alpha 9 III
Cressey’s career has come a long way, and his camera is the kindling that really ignited his creative fire. “At first it was filming my friends throwing tricks on skis, and then it was documenting backpacking adventures around the world…but it wasn’t until I picked up my first Sony camera that my creativity felt truly untethered. Today a camera allows me to capture wild landscapes, the people who explore them and the wildlife that call them home.”
“A Big Leap Forward”
The Sony Alpha 9 III has a number of features that make sense for Cressey’s work. “For the past month I’ve been using the Alpha 9 III and it feels like a big leap forward,” he says. “The global shutter that freezes fast action, real-time recognition autofocus that allows me to lock onto my subjects, five-axis image stabilization that keeps my shots sharp even when I’m shooting handheld or in low-light situations.”
