Nat Geo photographer and Sony Artisan Ira Block is one of the world's leading visual story tellers. Through his camera and lens, we're teleported into the far-flung places he goes to and we form emotional connections with the people and the cultures that he experiences. Now, Block's six-part series portrait photography series in Cuba has received a 2024 Webby Award. The Colours of Cuba, presented by B&H and Sony, joins Block on a journey to document the people, places and feel of Cuba through environmental portraiture. In his environmental portrait photography kit for Cuba, Block includes two Sony Alpha 1 cameras and six lenses – three zooms and three primes: The Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master II, Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master II, Sony 12-24mm f/2.8 G Master, Sony 55mm f/1.8, Sony 24mm f/1.4 G Master and Sony 135mm f/1.8 G Master.
