Senad “Senni” Dziho (@sennivisuals) is a filmmaker and photographer focused on alpine environments and remote expeditions, where conditions are often harsh, unpredictable and physically demanding. “This bag is built for mountain travel and multi-day expeditions, from fast-and-light alpine ascents to longer documentary-style journeys,” he says. “Every piece of gear I carry has been chosen through real-world use in snow, wind, cold, high-altitude terrain, and travels, allowing me to stay focused on storytelling rather than worrying about my equipment.” Keep reading as Senni shares what’s in his bag.

Cameras
Alpha 7 IV: The Alpha 7 IV is my main hybrid body for travel and alpinism. It’s the camera I rely on when I need to seamlessly switch between photography and video without compromising quality. In the mountains, versatility and speed are everything, and the Alpha 7 IV allows me to capture stills, cinematic clips, and spontaneous moments with confidence, even in rapidly changing weather.

Alpha 7S III: When a project requires a stronger cinematic focus, especially during multi-day expeditions or documentary-style trips, the Alpha 7S III becomes essential. I dedicate this camera almost entirely to filmmaking, trusting its low-light performance and reliability in extreme environments.

Lenses
24-70mm f/2.8 G Master II: This lens has completely changed the way I work. The 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II is my go-to lens for alpine travel and hybrid shooting, covering an incredible range of situations without forcing compromises.

70-200mm f/2.8 G Master: The 70-200mm GM allows me to isolate peaks, compress layers of mountains, and create minimalist compositions from a distance, often reaching places I physically can’t access.

16-35mm f/2.8 G Master: The 16-35mm GM is my primary lens for filmmaking, especially during expeditions and technical alpine environments.
