This is often easier said than done and she explains that, “As a parent with only two hands, it is tempting to capture vacation photos on my smartphone. The reality is, though, those images will never earn a spot on my wall because if I am being brutally honest, the framing tends to be lazy, the technology is deeply limiting and most of the photos get lost in the phone void. The quality will NEVER compare to using my real camera so with my travel kit, which is one camera body and one lens, I am able to easily produce beautiful images with ease."

Smartphone vs. Alpha 7R V + 35mm f/1.4 G Master
Camera
Alpha 7R V: The A7R V pretty much does it all. With a super fast AI auto focusing system, I can keep up with my lighting fast children and the in camera stabilization is truly a gift to all parents since we are always maneuvering between different lighting situations.

Lens
35mm f/1.4 G Master: This prime lens lives on my camera. It is super light-weight and compact, allowing me to capture everything without losing a beat. I was taught that if I wanted to get closer to my subjects, I had to zoom with my feet. Travelling with kids, this is not always possible so with my 35mm and a 61-megapixel full frame sensor on the A7R V, I can comfortably shoot the scene from where I am and crop and reframe later, without sacrificing quality and sharpness. Also, the bokeh.
