Cropping can be an incredibly useful tool to recompose images, and there are different ways to do it to achieve different results. You might want to use cropping to isolate a subject in your photo, change the framing or manipulate the aspect ratio. In this tutorial, Sony Artisan Chris Orwig walks through all of these cropping scenarios and more using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Using images shot with his Sony mirrorless cameras and G Master lenses, Orwig show how he uses the crop tool in a variety of situations in Lightroom, then he’ll show you a special way to crop images that’s unique to Photoshop.
