In this two-part event, Sony Artisan of Imagery Thibault Roland will teach you how to create stunning images using the technique of long exposure.
The first part of the event will consist of a lecture online where he will present the technique both from a conceptual and technical point of view. You will learn how to capture unique looking long exposure images and what equipment is required to do so.
The second part of this event is in-person, and Thibault will demonstrate the technique in the field and he will help you capture sharp and vibrant images of buildings during the daytime.
You will learn how to properly set up your camera and tripod for long exposures, how to select the appropriate shutter speed and aperture, and how to use neutral density filters.
Additionally, you will learn how to read histograms to achieve properly balanced exposures.
Throughout the workshop, you will have the opportunity to practice your skills by photographing a variety of architectural subjects. Thibault will be available to provide personalized feedback and guidance as you explore the fascinating world of long exposure architecture photography.
Whether you are a seasoned photographer looking to expand your skills or a beginner eager to learn a new technique, the lecture and workshop are the perfect opportunities to take your photography to the next level.
