(Critique Session at Classroom: Unit 210, 3060 9th Street SE)
This is a rare opportunity to take part in an on-location workshop with one of the world’s most highly-acclaimed photographers, William Albert Allard, while shooting with Sony's mirrorless powerhouse camera system, the Sony α7 III. During this experience, participants will have access to photograph the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth - The Calgary Stampede.
Spend a full day at the Stampede Grounds capturing photos of everything the Stampede has to offer from behind the scenes to the midway.
The main focus of this workshop is to create images that reflect your creative vision. Allard will guide you on how to ‘see’ photographic moments, achieve great compositions while capturing essential details. This workshop will also be followed by a valuable critique session where you, William Albert Allard and the group will review the images captured on-location.
Sony Canada has partnered with The Camera Store to provide this experience giving each participant a Sony α7 III and a Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS to work with during the workshop along with a series of lens choices that will be available on-site. The Sony team will also provide technical support so you can make the most out of your shooting experience.
