To DPReview and its remarkable team,

As we reflect on the closure of DPReview, we at Sony cannot express enough our gratitude for all that you have done for the photography and videography community over the past 25 years.

Your commitment to unbiased reviews and informative content has been critical to the industry, and we have been proud to work with you on many occasions. From press trips to product launches, your honest and objective insight has been invaluable, and the team's expertise and passion for photography have been evident in every article, review, and video you have produced.

Thanks to you, photographers and videographers have had access to in-depth reviews, comparisons, and guides, helping them make informed decisions about the equipment they use to fuel their creative visions. You’ve fostered a sense of community, bringing together a diverse group of individuals who share a common passion, and it has been an honor to be a part of it.

There are many members of the extended Sony team who have had the opportunity to work closely with you, including our Sony North America COO and President, Neal Manowitz. In Neal’s words: “For so many years, you have been the industry standard for us all. You have inspired engineers and you have given a voice to a generation of photographers.  We will miss your highly respected journalism and lively forums. On a personal note, I will miss the friendships that we built, all with a common love for our community. I am thankful and proud to say I worked with the DPReview staff.”

And in the words of Sony Corporation’s President of Imaging Products & Solutions Business Group, Kenji Tanaka: “DPReview has meant so much to our industry over the last 25 years.
