Manny Ortiz recently did a “run-'n-gun” photo shoot in downtown Chicago using the Sony α9 and 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master lens. Working with a professional model and collaborating with a tight group of fellow photographers, Manny worked quickly and efficiently to produce a solid group of images from the shoot.
In this video, he explains his process for this kind of a shoot. He shows how he uses natural light and off-camera flash in several different situations, how he chooses lenses and focal lengths and how he sets up his Sony α9 in changing conditions. The video is only 5:25, but it’s loaded with good insights and information.
