As part of today’s Creators’ Cloud announcement from Sony, the new platform is launching with some key benefits for creators, namely in cloud storage and collaboration. While more features will be added over the coming months, these elements are available at launch. Learn more about Creators’ Cloud and see how you can sign up HERE.
Cloud Storage
Creators’ Cloud will include cloud storage that can be used with the Creators’ Cloud website at announcement or through the Creators’ App (Coming later in Spring 2023). You can transfer images and videos to the cloud for immediate viewing and sharing. Anyone can get 5GB of free storage when you first sign up, while owners of select Sony cameras get 25 GB of free storage.
Discover
Discover is the Creators’ Cloud networking and collaboration platform. It enables creators to link up with other like-minded creators. Discover images and videos through location, camera and lens models, settings and genre. We live in a noisy world of connectivity and Discover enables you to sift through the noise and get connected with fellow creators so we can all take our collective games to the next level.
Creators’ App
The Creators’ App will succeed Imaging Edge Mobile Plus and enables you to upload photos and videos to Creators’ Cloud from an iOS or Android smartphone. Creators’ App will be available later in the spring and will also allow connectivity and control with the Alpha 7 IV and ZV-1F with more cameras being compatible in future updates. One particularly useful benefit is the ability to update the firmware of compatible cameras through the app.
