Ryan Mense of FStoppers spent some time putting the new α6500 through his tests to see just how it has become "best APS-C mirrorless camera that Sony has ever made."
On the outside, the α6500 will look almost identical but Sony has certainly added some internal features that will be sure to separate the two cameras from one another.
"As for the inside of the α6500, Sony had to do some rearranging in order to fit the SteadyShot in-body image stabilization unit that compensates sensor movement in the five axes — a first for the α6000-series cameras. Amazingly, in the end, they managed to keep the camera the same size as before."
