Erin Sullivan – @ErinOutdoors

Sony Brand Ambassador Erin Sullivan is an outdoor, travel and miniature photographer based in LA. She has a deep love for nature, imagination, travel, and meaningful stories from all over the world. On her website she states, “I believe that powerful images can make the world a more inspired and connected place.” Erin’s go-to photography setup is her Sony Alpha 7R IV and her Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master. In this TikTok she explains how she uses the telephoto lens to highlight textures and details within a landscape. This is a great technique to make less conventional landscape images.

Sam Mallory – @sam.photo.film

Sam Mallory is a semi-pro photographer and filmmaker. He focuses on landscape and travel imagery and shares his stunning work on TikTok. He also shares some deeply satisfying ASMR videos featuring different pieces of equipment such as the Sony 14mm f/1.8 G Master. In the video below, he’s featuring that wide angle lens and some of the images he captured with it. Matt Burton – @hfxdrifter

Matt Burton is a photographer and filmmaker based in Halifax, NS. On TikTok, he shares vignettes of video clips and him photographing in the field. In his TikTok bio, he describes himself as a “nostalgia chaser,” and that is a sense that comes across in his videos and images. Matt utilizes darker colors and slow, subtle movements to create calming and nostalgic content. The high quality footage paired with inspirational audio has gained him a large following. Brandon Puckett – @pucktography

Photographer Brandon Puckett specializes in landscape, adventure, and portrait work. He shoots with the Sony Alpha 7R III and Sony Alpha 6000 and sells gorgeous prints of his images. We love the TikTok below where he shows the camera setup, composition, the edit, and the final print. It’s great fun to see how a Sony image comes out in print. As Brandon says in the video, the level of detail is incredible. That is one of the pros of shooting with a Sony R series camera!

Ryan Formosa – @ryanformophoto

Ryan Formosa is an outdoor and adventure photographer who is passionate about exploring the great outdoors and capturing it along the way. His TikTok, YourTube, and Instagram share content on four-wheel-driving, camping, photography tips, and whatever other adventures come his way. Ryan is based in South Australia and his work focuses primarily on commercial work with various brands. His TikTok is also a great resource for beginners looking to have their questions answered in simple, easy to understand, short videos. For example, in the video below, Ryan talks about leading lines and how they can help a composition. If you are struggling to make sense of a scene, this is a great tip to keep in mind!
