Renee Hahnel – @reneeroaming
Renee Hahnel, an Aussie based in Seattle, is a photographer, blogger and Sony Alpha Ambassador. Her brand, Renee Roaming, inspires millions of travelers to live intentionally, place value on experiences over possessions, and to find joy exploring this beautiful world we call home. On her Instagram you’ll find colorful photos and videos that show the stunning views from her travel adventures. Renee has seen her fair share of stunning locations and has found many techniques to show these iconic places in fresh ways. In this image, she has framed the scene well, making it feel as though we are standing there with her.
Sapna Reddy – @sapnareddy
Sapna Reddy is a physician, nature photographer and Sony Alpha Ambassador. Her Instagram account is filled with brilliant landscapes from all corners of the Earth captured on her Sony Alpha 7R V, Sony Alpha 1 and other Sony cameras. In the image below, Sapna is honing in on a particular part of the scene. This is a great way to force the viewer to focus in. Often in landscape photography, we see a wide-angle shot of a sweeping landscape but in many cases, it can be more emotive to isolate the shot. She captured this image with the Sony Alpha 1 and the Sony 24-70mm f/2.8 G Master.
Galena Staroselsky – @photogalena_
Galena Staroselsky is a landscape and adventure photographer based in Gunnison, Colorado. She works full-time as a Lead OSP Design Engineer and spends most of her free time traveling to the mountains, oceans and deserts to camp, hike and capture landscapes. We love the composition of the image below. Immediately the viewer's eye is drawn to the bright flowers at the forefront of the frame. Then the eye begins to wander, catching the trail on the right hand side of the image. The eye follows that trail and then takes in the mountain and the bits of remaining snow – in contrast to the flowers. The light then pulls the viewer's eye up to the top of the shot, and then into the sky. This is a great composition that keeps an viewer’s attention moving throughout the frame. Ty Newcomb is a 31-year-old professional travel and brand photographer based out of Boulder, Colorado. He’s been working as a professional photographer for over 8 years now and has made a living working with tourism boards, travel agencies, hotels, and other travel companies on location around the World. Ty mostly shoots with the Sony Alpha 7R IV. We love the dueling color tones in this image. The blues and oranges balance it out in an appealing way.

Cody is a full time travel photographer and videographer based out of Utah who specializes in landscape, city, timelapse, aerial and lifestyle content. He has a pleasing balance of landscape, astro, cityscape and even a little street photography throughout his feed. His work focuses on capturing the essence of the places he visits and the people he meets. We love the perspective in this shot, the tiny tree establishes a contrast in size.

Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Richard Watson has been creating high impact visual content for leading clients for a decade. He works with industry leading corporations and design agencies to create photography and film that leaves a lasting impact. Richard regularly works throughout Ireland and the UK, and has also been commissioned for international assignments to Spain, Belgium, Dubai and America. This image is another great example of honing in on a landscape, rather than showing a sweeping expanse. The repetitive patterns of the trees broken up by the road adds contrast that is also reflective of the contrast between natural elements and man-made elements within the frame.
Cate Weese – @Catescompass
On her blog, content creator Cate Weese describes herself by stating that she is, “a Wisconsin native turned Southeast Photographer who loves to capture the outdoors on my Sony Alpha 7 III. I'm a hiking and camping aficionado with a passion for travel and trying new things!” Her Instagram account is full of stunning scenes of nature and adventure, like this image below. We love the color palette of pinks, oranges, and reds in a pastel tone. And the slight reflection of the clouds on the water adds an interesting aspect to that portion of the photo.
Jared Boaz – @jaredboazphoto
Jared Boaz is a nature and landscape photographer who migrated to nature photography as a second career after 15 years in healthcare. Landscape and nature photography has always been an escape for Jared, a way for him to have an emotional reset. Jared shoots with the Sony Alpha 7R V and he says, “The Sony Alpha 7R V does an excellent job of letting me create without limits.” He pairs it with the Sony 24-105mm f/4 G or the Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master.
