Flexibility With F/2
The Sony 50-150mm f/2 GM's constant F2 aperture creates beautifully smooth bokeh, making it an ideal choice for portrait, wedding, and event photographers aiming to isolate subjects with a shallow depth of field. “The constant f/2 aperture is a huge selling point,” says Sadowska. “It gives me the flexibility to shoot in a variety of lighting conditions without compromising on quality, as well as provides me with the most perfect, dreamy bokeh.”

Sadowska was able to test the lens for over a week, using it in a variety of different photo shoots and lighting scenarios. “It was so nice to see how versatile this lens is,” she says. “I did a photo shoot with a good friend of mine who happens to be an amazing performer and an actress. We did a 50s-inspired photo shoot in a botanical garden, and it came out absolutely magical.”

Produce Pure Magic At Lightning Speed
Between its fast AF system and versatile 50-150mm zoom range, the lens can keep up with the quick pace of Sadowska’s fashion shoots. On top of that, the lens also features a newly developed 11-blade circular aperture that further enhances the signature G Master bokeh. “It was really hard to choose my favorite photos,” she says. “The way the lens captures the details while keeping the background perfectly blurry is pure magic.“

She recommends that no matter what you’re used to using, this is a lens worth giving a shot. “As someone who is a lifetime 24-70mm user that has only recently gotten into shooting longer ranges, I highly highly recommend for anyone to try this lens!”
