Alpha 7 IV: One year ago, I got myself a present and upgraded to my first full-frame camera. I went for the Alpha 7 IV as she still is quite compact and offers incredible image quality. I love the foldable display, which helps keep my composition visible regardless of the angle I like to shoot. The image quality just blew me away. The 33MP and amazing sensor help capture everything from sunrises to night sky shots. It also gives me the ability to edit and crop my shots to get the best out of every scene. I also love the customizable buttons as I prefer to shoot with back-button focus.

Alpha 6300: Most of my time I spent with my compact little buddy, the Alpha 6300. When I bought her, she was the newest APS-C camera Sony had to offer. I loved the small design and the light weight, while delivering outstanding image quality. During my time in New Zealand and Australia I learned even more to love her, having her attached to my backpack, ready to capture the next amazing landscape. After I upgraded to my Alpha 7 IV, she remains my reliable second camera.

200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G: In May 2025, I went to my first safari in South Africa and took my first steps into wildlife photography. I chose to bring the 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G in combination with my Alpha 7 IV to capture the amazing wildlife. I absolutely fell in love with the lens as it offered incredible sharp shots, fast auto focus and variable reach to capture everything, from huge elephants to tiny birds.

Accessories
Magnetic ND Filter Set: These filters allow me to capture smooth water, especially for waterfalls.
Head Torch: As a landscape photographer, you often start early or finish late. My headtorch helps me find the way back to the parking lot and not get lost on the trail.

Lightweight Tripod: This small, flexible tripod helps me get shots with longer exposure times. It's not quite lightweight, so my backpack doesn't get too heavy.
Camera Clip and Handcuff: Enables me to keep my camera attached to my backpack or my wrist so I'm always ready to capture the next shot.
