Synopsis

In this portrait of Portugal's Algarve, Sony Artisan Bob Krist gives us a glimpse into the traditions and lifestyles of the fabled coastal region. Krist has been bringing places like The Algarve to a world-wide audience for decades. The prolific National Geographic photographer and filmmaker works largely as a one-man band. Using compact cameras that are capable of shooting high-quality 4K images, Krist is a multi-media content creator. In addition to the ultra-high resolution Sony α7R II, Krist uses the more compact RX10 II and pocketable RX100 IV in his films without ever sacrificing image quality.
