Milky Way Astrophotography In Joshua Tree National Park With Stan Moniz

Learn Milky Way astrophotography with Alpha Collective member Stan Moniz (@stanmoniz) in Joshua Tree National Park, home to some of the darkest skies in Southern California.

Stan will teach the following topics so that you can make them your own:

  • All of the factors necessary to capture sharp stars including proper exposure times and image balance.
  • Creative compositions with the Milky Way and surrounding landscape.
  • The use of external lightning to enhance shadows and highlights to a scene.
  • In-field editing with Adobe LightRoom mobile.

    *Post-Processing techinques in an optional post-processing session on July 19 from 9am-12pm at the Best Western in Joshua Tree.
