Todd Graven – @toddgravenphotography
Photographer Todd Graven used his Sony Alpha 7R III to take this beautiful shot in Valdez, Alaska. “I love shooting tight landscape shots with a telephoto lens, especially this time of the year in Alaska,” he writes. “The lighting changes quickly, and since I work on a barge on the water 8-9 months out of the year, I have trained myself to shoot landscapes at normal wildlife settings on my Sony Alpha 7R III. Being in the water 24/7 can be a real challenge for long exposure landscape shots, so I shoot more handheld. Sometimes you can treat an epic scene like you would a bird in flight and create magic like this scene when the seasons clash.”
