Brooke Shaden – @brookeshaden

Brooke Shaden is a Sony Artisan and fine art photographer. She’s participating in #monthofdarkart on Instagram and has been posting a new hauntingly beautiful creation each day in October. The best part about Brooke Shaden’s work is its openness to interpretation, allowing each viewer to connect to it in their own way. She asked for her followers to tell the story of the image below by finishing the sentence, “In the end, she _____.” Why? She says, “By having viewers of this art tell the story of the art, I believe we expand the meaning of it and make it greater than what it would have been without the input.” Give her a follow for more.

Victoria Siemer – @witchoria

Victoria is a member of the Sony Alpha Imaging Collective, and her Instagram account gives an in-depth look at her fascinating creative style and imagination. She dreams up otherworldly creations, captures the photos with her Sony gear and then uses Photoshop to manipulate the layers all together into a work of art. You can read more about her process in Behind The Lens And Inside The Mind Of Witchoria. She combined her love of landscapes and geometric shapes below in this photo she took during #AICdoesNewZealand. Did she just create a portal to another dimension?

Alex – @urbannaddict

Alex is a Sony photographer based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. His account boasts a variety of moody portraits, landscapes, cityscapes and more. See the creative image below taken on the Sony α7 III and edited to blur the lines between nightmare and reality.

J Teal – @greenishbluephotography

J is a Sony shooter based in Austin, TX. He mostly posts artistic portraits and drone shots to his account. He captured this spooky silhouette witch portrait of model @young_breezyy using his Sony α7R III and Sony 16-35mm f/2.8. Check him out and give him a follow for more.

Fernando Calejo Pires – @fernandocalejopires

Fernando is a Sony photographer based in Portugal. He posts portraits on his account, and lately he’s been posting some creepy cosplay shots of some of your favorite characters from Halloween horror movies. We found this clown portrait that he took with his Sony α7 to be particularly creepy...check out his account for more of these scary characters!
