Last weekend hundreds of creators poured into Dogpatch Studios for Sony’s latest Be Alpha event in San Francisco. With a special emphasis on the newly launched “Alpha Female” program, the event featured Sony Artisan and conservation photographer Cristina Mittermeier as a keynote speaker, along with a panel discussion including Cristina and other Sony Artisans Brooke Shaden, Caroline Jensen, Sara France and Me Ra Koh – all mentors involved with the program.
In addition to hearing from so many inspiring Alpha Females, attendees had plenty of opportunities to create. Compelling shooting sets including trampoline jumpers, aerial silk acts, insane screen projections and dynamic lighting gave everyone the chance to make their own photography magic. A number of photo walks got attendees out into the neighborhoods of San Francisco where they captured dancers, skateboarders, slack-liners and more.
Check out some of the amazing work that came out of the event, and get involved by sharing your own “Be Alpha” content on social media with the tag #BeAlpha. Don’t forget to check AlphaUniverse.com for updates on future Be Alpha events near you!
