Synopsis

Alpha Collective member Jane Kim (@_janekim) likes to photograph New York with an ethereal aesthetic. On a bright and sunny afternoon in Brooklyn she found herself wanting to shoot with her Sony α7R II and Sony 55mm f/1.8, but she didn't have a filter to achieve the kind of look she prefers. In this video, Kim explains how she improvised in the moment and used her clear phone case as a make-shift filter to create this dreamy shot.
