Professional Photographers' Impressions Of The New α9

Synopsis

The new Sony a9 was designed from the top down to be a professional camera. Built to enable photographers to get photographs that other camera systems would miss, the α9 shoots 20 fps in complete silence. That speed is part of a system that includes a 693-point AF system and a new battery that has both longevity and power to push heavy lens elements all day long. The α9 is poised to revolutionize sports, photojournalism, nature and wedding photography and enable photographers to leapfrog their DSLR-wielding competition.
