Inspire 2019: Streets as Studio - Making Images with Available Light - By Adorama
Join Sony Alpha Imaging Collective members Dave Krugman (@dave.krugman) and Dane Isaac (@dane.isaac) on a photo walk to explore the streets of New York City while learning techniques that will help you understand the nuances of using available light in the city. You will walk through busy streets and two city parks, capturing the scenes that unfold in front of you.
Dave and Dane will share their techniques as well as their photographic philosophies, explaining how to use photographic tools as a way to interface with the world around you, and how to turn a stroll through the city into an opportunity to create lasting imagery.
We suggest you bring your camera, a couple of lenses, extra battery and memory cards. A tripod is optional.
There will be SONY loaner gear available, but quantities are limited. To check out gear, you must bring valid photo ID and major credit card. You must bring SD cards as they will not be provided. If interested, please see rep at Sony table upon arrival.
Remember the photo walks happen rain or shine, so prepare for the weather and wear comfortable shoes!
Tickets are $25 - you can purchase them here.
