While most people prefer beautiful beach destinations and tropical vacations, you’ll find outdoors and wildlife photographer Charlee Wild (@CharleeWild) choosing to chase the colder climates. In “Wild Alaska,” filmed entirely on the new Sony Alpha 1, follow the Alpha Collective member through Alaska’s harsh environment as she works to create photos with the goal of bringing awareness to certain species of animals and also climate change.

“The biggest two characteristics you have to have for wildlife photography are patience and respect. You need to have the patience to be able to spend days, sitting in a pile of snow, freezing, while you observe an animal. You also have to have the respect that you are in its environment. You are in it’s home. You are a visitor.”
