Sony Announces α9 Firmware Update

A new firmware update for the Sony α9 has been released. Firmware version 1.10 is now available for download.

Key benefits of Version 1.10 (It’s recommended to backup all RAW data recorded with firmware version 1.00 or 1.01 even if updating to version 1.10.):

  • Improves image quality and overall stability of the camera
  • Resolves a condition where RAW files disappear when SDX/microSDXC memory cards are connected to certain smartphones
